Vesperine is built by a Chinese-founded team, around a system in continuous use for roughly two thousand years. The same product already serves readers in Taiwan, Singapore and the Chinese diaspora. This English edition is a simplification of it — and we tell you where we simplified.
The system is known in Chinese as BaZi — literally 'eight characters', calculated from your exact birth time. Your date and hour become a Five Elements chart before a single line of interpretation is written. Nothing is read that wasn't computed first.
This isn't a Western rebrand of someone else's tradition. Vesperine is Chinese-founder-led, launched first in Chinese-heritage markets, and brought into English by people the system belongs to. Where we've simplified the presentation for readers new to it, we say so on the page.
