The Ten Gods are relationships to the Day Master

The Ten Gods describe how every other element relates to the Day Master. Resources produce the self, Output is produced by the self, Wealth is controlled by the self, Officer pressure controls the self, and Companion energy matches the self.

They are not literal gods. Wealth can mean money, but also management and desire. Officer can mean career status, but also rules, responsibility, and pressure. Resource can mean education, protection, trust, and recovery.

Context matters more than keywords

A Wealth star in the month pillar does not mean automatic wealth. You must ask whether the Day Master can handle it, whether Output supports it, and whether Officer or Resource stars stabilize the structure.

When reading a report, use the Ten Gods as themes. They help you understand whether the chart is speaking about responsibility, expression, money, learning, competition, or support.
